. Yes…, synthetic, artificial diamonds. When people have the complete knowledge of diamonds and when the technology made it possible then people start to think about creating Cultured Diamonds. It was Dr. Ferdinand Frederick Henri Moissan, a France chemist who introduces his revolutionary experiment to diamond world. Further to his various researches finally he proved that artificial diamonds is possible to be formed. His experiment with charcoal as the basic available form of Carbon was successful. By doing certain extremely high temperature process on that piece of charcoal he showed the world it may turn into precious artificial diamond gemstone!  His invention had really shocked and appealing the whole world. Especially the diamond world, of course. Cultured Diamonds world owe to his invention of electric oven design which might reach temperature of 3,500’C – 4,000’C. This oven consumed such a lot of electric energy which was up to about 175,000 Watts.

Afterwards there were many other scientists who further develop his invention. Included certain big companies in the world. Who did not want to have his own diamond miner? Being made on purpose which means the scientist may have full control on how the creation to be, Cultured Diamonds may easily be much superior to real diamonds! Even much purer and harder. Not to mention the standard parameters of Color, Cut, Clarity and Carat.

There are rumors of very very expensive and super sized diamonds are to be Cultured Diamonds. Nobody knows indeed. Logically just imagine what kind of dollars and efforts are to be invested on producing those magnificent diamond stones? While contrary their selling prices are not that much. Although it might be none of our business, such information should be valuable when you decide to buy your own Cultured Diamonds.

What will you do if you are facing two choices of diamond gemstones in front of you ? Both are beautiful. Both are affordable. Both have their certificate of origin.
